Turing College Acquires Boom Training to Transform UK Apprenticeships
Turing College has acquired Boom Training, a UK-based apprenticeship provider with a strong track record of helping businesses grow talent from within.
Turing College is a Lithuanian Y-Combinator backed pioneer in Education Training. They've combined AI, agile methodology learning sprints, and peer-to-peer learning (leveraging the Protégé Effect, to create the most effective and impactful learning programs in AI, Data Anaytics, and digital marketing.
Their programs are used by businesses including Meta, Accenture, Amazon, and PWC.
The acquisition of Boom marks their UK entry, where they have ambitions to fast become the leading upskilling provider both via apprenticeships and pure play commercial avenues.
Thomsett Advisory Co-Leads Transaction
Thomsett Advisory were contracted by Bolt Advisory, an education recruitment and advisory company, who owned the client madate, to manage the deal process from start to finish. Bolt used their recruitment market coverage to produce a lead list and support lead qualification. Thomsett Advisory co-lead the deal, including stakeholder management, due diligence partner selection and management, deal structure, and deal strategy, to ensure a successful completion.
